I was dismayed at the sight of ?FPS: 3? in the game I am developing, once I added textures? for hours, I toiled, profiling every function and wondering where I went wrong? I know the code is not that optimized, but I could not fathom it running that slowly on the system I was using.
Then, I downloaded the latest drivers for my video card.
FPS: 230
Now I see why they say, ?get the latest drivers!? first.
