After a bit of searching I haven't really found a specific reference to this question, so here goes.

Is Mod 10 going to support the tilesets used by the 3D client? The current problem I'm facing is that in the 3D client there are quite a few transition locations made up of lava tiles. Snow to water, jungle to dirt and so on.

I know it's a problem with the 3D tileset being slightly different from the 2D set. But I've also heard that the second tileset works with both 3D and 2D. Using this one would make it a hell of a lot easier to do a map that both 3D and 2D clients could view, no?

According to a post I read somewhere, and I think on the main page in the news section, Ryandor said yes.

Ah, thanks. That's good news. Oh, and yes I'm and idiot because I went and checked the main site after reading this, and right there it says:
"Most (if not all) 3d buggy (lava) tiles fixed in translations"

So there's my lesson learned. Next time I'll look more =P
