Can somebody tell me which version is current for the most part. I have several downloaded, mod9 and 10 from several dates I guess. I have mad e several maps over the years with mod9 and never ran across this problem. Im coming back to dragon to try and remedy and embankment problem Im having with UOL

I downloaded mod9 and everything went smooth loaded map and login and
Mountains after compile turn to Dirt, Snow turns to Moutains, swamp turns to cave floor. Anybody got any clues. I looked made sure the swatches where loaded etc.

Thanks

I don't think Mod 10 was ever completed. You are best off sticking with Mod 9.

You need to use the right colors for whatever terrain you are trying to produce. The colors aren't interchangeable between Mod9, Mod10, etc. because each mod has its own color table.

I think there are some color tables for mod 9 included in the archive? If not you can look at the file maptrans.txt, the RGB values for each terrain type is in that file.

I've seen some hinky things happenin in the newer versions of Dragon.
I use the client version (1.0362) and Imod lvl (13) listed here ......

Embankments have been an issue, I think, with all the tools over the yrs, no idea why. Orbsydia is back in the saddle, so go over there to check on UOL ....

I know there was a fix for some shorline issues ppl had, other then that I don't know.

You could also try tweaking the finished Map0 directly using something like punt's Worldmaker. It's in the files section here.
