How do you make good mountains.. I read the tutorial and I keep trying countless of times to create a mountain that looks OSI but all I get is a huge chuck with good front side but when you walk around to the back of the mountain all you see is jagged lines it looks terrible.. any assistance??

If the 20, 30, 50 doesn't work for you, then try a 10, 20, 30. It's all about experimenting and getting it to look the way you think it should look. There's no exact way to create a mountain. If you really are looking to match the OSI mountians then your best bet would be to study them indepth in WorldForge. You'll find there's not much consisitancy in the way they are made. Getting it exact is pretty much impossible.

I think it was Dian who had a somewhat better technique. It was similar to Ry's but along the backside he went even lower. We had a discussion about this somewhere. Maybe Iris will be useable sometime in the future and then we will all have to find new techniques anyway.

I always use 10 for the first few tiles, then 30, then random. It works wonders.
