I'm trying to make a map, right? well.. i already found a map that i was going to use via UOL.. So what I tried to do was this :

1) made an already coded terrain/altitude .bmp

2) deleted the coded terrain file

3) placed the terrain file i wanted into the folder with the altitude .bmp

4) tried to do the altitude maker thing, and well..... it didnt work

5) tried some more with the altitude maker thing, didnt work

so, yeah. I dunno whats wrong. Maybe its because the program wont allow non-coded maps to be copied with the altitude thing.... hrm, I should talk to Khaybel bout it, or no?

I have a funny feeling this is somehow related to this post... http://www.ryandor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3209

As you already know, support for UOL is not offered here, not because we don't want to, but because that is what Khaybel prefers (Which is silly in my own opinion, but meh).

Really its up to you if you want to ask the question to Khaybel or not. To me it seems quite daft to be posting on a forum asking if you should ask someone a question or not?

Its Simple. Ask him if you think it's a legitimate question (And you aren't just posting it here to be a pest/flare up anger), or don't ask him.

And lets be clear, I'm not saying you ARE a pest, or are posting to flare up anger, I'm saying, ask if it is a legit question and you ARENT just doing that. Your question seems odd to me, especially the second post.
