Patching empty diff files to the players is no longer an option unless I am missing something. When you have empty diff files you get the funky neon blue checkered patern in place of what was there. Has anyone found a way around this so custom maps can be used? I have our maps done but they are riddled with OSI leftovers and I can't seem to get them to go away short of manually deleting the diffs but I do not really want ot make my players do this. Thanks in advance

Cal

Instruct the server software you're using to not telling the client to use the diffs?

well I have deleted them completely from the server. Then I tried pathcing them to the client within UOGateway but that didn't work so I set up a local server and manually tol it to use the empty dif files and that is when I got the neon blue.

The emulator you're using should have an off/on switch for them. THe client doesn't read them unless the server tells it to.

Thank you everyone for your help. I cannot believe it was as simple as deleting them from the server itself. Once I did that everything worked fine again
