Post subject: WoW and EQ 2

Did EQ 2 from Nov to now. WoW for the last month.
In a nutshell:

EQ2 is far more refined, sophisticated with greater potential. It is also more restrictve in play style (Sony wants you to play a certain way, and pretty much has the game set up to enfoce that; like grouping being a must, crafting, etc).

WoW has pretty much realized its potential. Found a decent balance between sophistication and fun. Most classes are competent enough to solo.

Because WoW on level, allows one to buy differnt spells (EQ all get the spells, one can upgrade them), there is the potential for more variants between the same class. EQ trait characteristices/training (the "plus" you get on some levels) is similar to WoW's trait points.

Cancelling my EQ 2 account, decided for now, fun was worth more. Playing on Windrunner server

I played WOW for awhile and I gotta say doing the stuipd quests over and over again is just plain retarded.

EQ is better. UO is better as well.
