Already over 400 hours. The map which is my version of the map from Ultima V.

The server is pre-aos and is using a highly very custom runuo core and scripts. Single facet with factions and open PvP enabled in select areas.

Beta is now going on and I am hiring. Please see my site for full details:

The map is based off of Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny.
My bmp of the map which is 80% complete was drawn by scratch in photoshop and ms-paint. I used dragon mod9+ with quite a few custom changes/fixes I did to the dragon scripts. I've already got a few towns built on the server, but wont be freezing anything until the bmp is 100%.

We're currently in open beta and are on map version 2.8. Running RunUO 2.0 SVN.

Lot of the runuo issues/bugs and custom changes have already been fixed/done. The project is doing very well! We already have an established player base of 15ish players online avg and growning fast. We are hiring so if you are a skilled UO decorator/architect and are interested in this project please contact me on msn or email me at gm_majere@hotmail.com.

Isn't that Imprint's U5 map with some modifications?

Not even close. The map is based off of the old game Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny. I've been making my own maps for years.

Well, it IS close, but yeah, they are different versions.

It looks like both of you guys used the map from Ultima 5 Lazarus as a base!

Yes in my map alot of the buildings, city layouts and ideas are designed after screen shots from the lazarus project. But I asure you that tons of time went into making it unqiue. Feel free to check us out and see the many differant features of the map. I love opnions!

It looks pretty good from what I can see! Sorry for jumping to the wrong conclusion. It threw me that they both had features from Lazarus. :)

Ultima 5 was a great era from the Ultima series, it's a good timeframe to base a server around.

I was originally thinking about basing my shard during the U5 timeframe but later on I decided to use the time between Ultima 2 and Ultima 3. Since so little is known about that particular period it will give me some flexibility to introduce some new fiction into the Ultima mythos.

Unlike the UO3 map he definately took and released without permission. This U5 map is indeed his, You can tell the difference if you really take a good look at the landscape of his, verses the landscape of mine. His is complete with statics, and my version is untouched allowing others to build as they see fit.

Although I have started to build all the locations, and will be offering a 100% fully completed version of the U5 map sometime next year. Usually takes me 6-8 months to build towns and locations on a map, those of you who where nice enough to actually purchase my Sosaria map know the level of detail and quality I provide.

Anyway I just wanted to clear up the fact that this U5 map is definately his, and not the one I created and is offered on my site.
