Tragena is based off an AD&D world created years ago and lovingly converted to UO by a couple of admins with no life. We offer a custom map, many full sized custom cities, a storyline that encompasses over a decade of real life detail work, classes that are not just limitations on skills and stats allowed, a pantheon of gods as detailed and vivid as they come, and a dedicated, fair, knowledgable, and caring staff.

If you're looking more for resources, Tragena also offers tutorials for making your own map. The UOSP tutorial was written by RoseThorn and the Dragon and Cave building tutorials were written by Blink.

i don't know about hired or not, as he generally works on whatever he's in the mood for at the time (creative passion/interest kinda deal).

he has some other artwork at http://www.darkprism.com/zef if you wanna see it, that stuff is fairly old now though, i think he's planning to update it sometime soon.
