Hehe :)

Weren't really that many shards with "custom stuff" around when I started working on mine. Especially not custom worlds ;P I mean, everyone already had pink orc dreadlords and bright orange horses of extermination, but as far as custom maps went - there was the original Beyond Sosoria project, and not much else.

And now every second shard around has a custom world and "unique features" (copied from someone else, more often than not). Bleh!

The only problem being the complete obsolescence of computers by the time he finishes it. It will be difficult to find one of those old-fashioned transistor-based contraptions that can play UO by then. ;-)

That's right - so get off your butt and go fix a bug in UOX3 today! ;)

By the way, I've been bored the last few days, so...

(Note that the features page is very incomplete, just added a few things there to get an "index ;P)

Any thoughts? :P

I do not like the overhanging second level. I know it is perfectly possible and common practice to build like that back then (especially around where you live), but in UO, it just looks like you did it to make the roof look right. I also think that there should be more room at the bottom of the stairs in the basement levels. If the stairs are two wide, there should be two tiles beyond the bottom to make it look right ? you only have one, which makes it look very cramp. Also, is that going to be a secret door in the upper jail cell, behind the stairs? Just wondering. :-)

Other than those nitpicks, it looks good.

Yep, it'll be a secret door that will autolock itself each time it's unlocked, after a short period of time :) I'll give whoever's in that cell the ability to look for hidden lockpicks in the cell, or hairpins or whatever, a certain number of times per minute/hour or something - give them a chance of escape :P Obviously (for me at least) the cell is intended for "smalltime criminals" while the lower ones will be for more hardcore criminals. :)

As for the overhanging second level - perhaps I'll play around with it some more and see if I can find a different way of doing it. Just having one level on top of the other seems to...boring. Big square building, looks like a barn.

And yeah the stairs at the bottom level does look a bit cramped. I guess I could move them another tile back.

*shrugs* i like it, plus cramped is more realistic only the very rich had wide hallways and halls everyone else was cramped because it is all they could afford

looks great btw

Well being cramp is fine ? but having a mix of wide stairways and narrow landings just does not look right. If you want ?poor/efficient?, have one-tile width stairways, and one-tile landings, but if you have two (wide), have two for the landing. As for the overhang, you could extend it out a little more and put supports under it ? that would make it look cool (as long as it has supports).
