Keep 'em comin'
I guess having a smaller than normal map has given you the chance to have quality over quantity in your buildings. I especially like the market. I've always hated the way the bank is the center of life in UO. My ideas have always been to build a market like yours and put the bankers there. That way the market naturally becomes the center as it should be.

What's with the weed transitions around all the cobbles and tile though? Something just doesn't look right about it. Isn't there a cobble to grass transition?

lol yea the problem is its difficult to preplot a town from dragon at least a nice flowing town from ingame so all the coblestones are staticed and so that grass is to make it not look so nasty :) most of that town was done by waver one of the builders on my shard

Yeah, you either need to plot it out on graph paper and then draw pixel by pixel or do it in Worldforge after the fact. I usually do a rough and then go back in and throw up rough buildings then go back and recompile a few times. Most of the building I have done has been on someone else's shard though so I just had to work with the floorplan I was given. It limits your creativity somewhat I suppose, since you need to fit the footprint, but it's a huge help when you don't know what to build where.

Hrmmmm....I just had an idea. The same way that Dian has multiple palettes and multiple script sets. Could do 1 just for detail townbuilding. Of course that could still take up multiple palettes.

I bet the fix table could come in handy here too. Except it is probably more work to use it then editing in WF.

I actually took a good look for the first time at the buildings in Malas and Ilshenar and I see more than a few of yours came from Ilshenar (I quit OSI before....whatever came after T2A). I'm surprised to find more than a few good buildings there; I think the maps themselves are every bit as bad as T2A (and I don't mean bad in a good way). Malas especially takes the cake.

At any rate, Waver does excellent work.

HmmMMmm as far as i know none of them were ripped from any osi map O.o HmmmMmmmm i had some osi stuff on there a while back but removed it, who knows who knows *starts looking through malas for buildings*

If i could see statics in worldforge that would be awsome some sort of option to see them at least... but thats not going to happen any time soon lol any way theres never been a problem figuring out what to build in spaces but noone of the cities left need pathing :) so you wouldnt have to see the crazy static paths

Wow those are nice tools :D hope that it wont be to long before some releases. my map is comming to the point that i cant do the things i want to do becaus its to complicated for me to do so or to time consuming to do it in world forge. maby this will speed that up .. i hope.

Yeah, but it is pretty painless since you can unfreeze in game with RunUO. Uhhhhh....you are using RunUO right?

Hrmmmm.....Then again it is going to be painful for you no matter what.
It's awful hard once you have a live shard. Although since RunUo doesn't seem to care you could copy the muls it is using to another computer and run a local server there to modify them. Still a lot of work and you have to ask yourself, is it going to improve my server enough to justify it?
