What I just don't understand, is what could possible make people prefer purchasing an already complete custom map when they can (easily) spend 5 years working on their own!

No i saw it and tonight i got a download link from him. My email was messing up. He sent it after i paid i guess it was my email server not giving me the mail. Ronin |

I've bought several maps from him and he has always been very fast on providing the download info. He's reliable and responsive, so no worries for anyone out there who is considering it. |

So... Xuri... what would you do if, when you finally finish your map, someone just steals it and uses it on a more popular shard, and everybody there thinks you stole it? Would you be like...

Hmm good question. Well, easy solution to that - I'll never finish my map! Or better yet, I'll finish it, but never actually let anyone else see it. On the off-chance that someone should actually steal it and claim ownership status of it, I'd of course hunt them down and pull out their digestive system with my bare hands. Hmm. Actually, I would wear rubber gloves. |

Everything you create is automagically copy written, except under some circumstances (IE, you do it as part of a job). Including the map MUL file itself -- just because it is in a format invented by Origin does not mean that you cannot own a file in that format. Well, that is in the United States -- I assume Norway has similar copyright laws. Regardless, though, the effort and money it would take to sue is probably never going to be worth it for something like this. |
