Just wanted to say i have always loved your site bro, I use to have an account long ago but it seems that when i came back it was gone :( no worries thou. You are like a god of mapping. and i bow before you. Anyway i also have a suggestion for the site if your interested. Maybe add a gallery addon so users can post their work on there maps or buildings. Would be a great addon for the site. If you want i know a few good gallery addons using php and mysql and they are open source.

Again, Great site bro. Much respect to you

Ronin

Thank you very much, if but a bit much....

I've never purged any users (other than spambots) so you're in there somewhere...

If you find it and need a pw reset, let me know.

A bit much? Well i have seen this on screenshots http://www.ryandor.com/shots/ry/rymod11pic.jpg and i take it sence you didnt use dragon. That leaves worldforge... Bro i tried to map once with just worldforge... and it looked like a block of sand in the middle of the water. For you to do that with WF is outstanding.

Oh make no mistake your the man! :)

Truth be told, I used a program to get the general map finihsed. I can't remember what it's called but it basically takes a bmp.. where each pixel is one block.. which is 8x8 tiles in-game.. and converts it to a map. So I did have a roughed out map, then edited it in WF..

But it still took several months of work to get it to that stage.. too bad I didn't put statics in it :(

Unfortunately, I have beet you to the idea.. Although it will not be anything that a member can just submit to, freely.

With all the stuff i been doing with this web site crap, my cookies need reset often, and I dont see new posts a lot of times lately.. otherwise i would have mentioned this earlier.

I do not know who wrote it, but I got it from Ryan (of RunUO)..
For some reason it's stuck in my head that he actually wrote it..
I have no idea, however.
