Anyone here have any experience making php run on an IIS server?
I'm having a bit of trouble with a lowend dicom server installation and because the server it runs on is a DC I don't want to install Apache on it.

That's not realy a good reason, since apache is less likely to f up your DC then IIS, which entangles itself in what not, while apache doesnt.

Other then that, it's security neglecting, since IIS is far more likely to get compromised then your DC if it was 'naked', yet in this scenario your IIS server holds the domain accounts.

If you realy want to do it anyways, I can suggest php.net which has a few howto's on the topic, or just google on 'installing php on IIS'. Worked for me.

Jeroen

Yeah, well the webserver component for it is because I have to install it to create accounts (there is no command line or gui for this program, only a web interface). It isn't an externaly accessible webserver. The reason I don't want to install Apache is because I am afraid of hosing IIS. This is also an Exchange server, and Outlook web access requires IIS.

Oh, and my specific problem is that it isn't loading my dlls.
I think it isn't reading the php.ini at all.

Well I went ahead and installed Apache (after changing the port for the default IIS website). It still refuses to load the fucking dlls so it is my php that is hosed (checking what it is doing with a hello.php page). I'm going to try reinstalling it tomorrow.
