Looks more like a small fortress than a town, but nice, thanks for sharing.

Most of it will be underground, but yeah, I was going for the fortress look.

Rather impressive!

I attempted to address in the thread over at WorldMaker, but one can do below ground buildings by making then negative altitudes in the mlt editor (they will be offset to that altitude relative to the terrain).

Once punt told me how to transfer it to his multi editor, I added one full level underground, and another level above ground, saved it, went to bed, and have not looked at is since.

I have a very hard time staying interested in anything.

I think I am mildly bipolar, I have decided, because I go through periods of depression followed by periods of motivation. Two weeks on, two weeks off. The problem is that I start a new project each cycle, instead of continuing the previous one.

Every project I start has some crippling quality to it that makes it seem unworthy in my mind. I force myself to work on them, anyway, but in the end, motivation wanes as I think more and more about whatever it is that I do not like.

I really should pick up my MMORPG again, it got pretty far during the initial two weeks I worked on it. You can even walk around now, though you will not see the other players yet. I need to recompile the server on Linux so that I can throw it on my server, which will take some modifications (hopefully not too many), though.

Bipolar is just a fancy name for manic-depressive, since some people bounce between normal and high, instead of low and high; at least, according to Wikipedia.

Get some fancy drugs to help with that. :P

I think if you could make money with your projects, you'd probably stay pretty motivated I think. :P

But I know how you feel, sometimes I don't get depressed per se, but I lose motivation sometimes.

What I found, is you figure a way to do something, say build a structure, and when you build it. Reward yourself. That way as you go along, you reward yourself for completing portions of your projects.

Then when you complete the entire project, you feel great. :D

Like right now, I'm going through InsideUO and the art xml file for Punts tool. Because before I get started on my map project, I'd like to have every possible item that is in the game at my finger tips. So far I'm a 1/4 of the way through, so things are going good. When I complete it, I'll post up a download link here and give it to Punt for distribution.

I'm hoping the community will enjoy the work I've put into it, to make Punt's tool even better.

Thats excelent,

Thats somthing that most people do not have patience to do. Unfortunatly, I am cursed with the patience to do long drawn out tedious things such as what you are doing...

Look forward to seeing your update :)

The motivational reward thing worked perfect for me...with the minor problem of passing out on the keyboard from all that beer and forgetting what I was doing from the night before...that puddle of barf and buckshot on the screen didn't help much either...

Hmmm...
No, it shouldn't be.
You can't use a basic food group as a reward. It is a basic need. Like breathing.
