I am adding new map tiles with MulPatcher.

I add the 44x44 tile to the "Art(M)" header, 0x7 ID and add ash BMP
I add the 64x64 tile to the "Textures" header, 0x7 ID and matching BMP
to finish I got to "Tiledata (M)" add the name to 0x7... but when I do, the 0x7 to the RIGHT of the new name changes to 0xC2. When I highlight an try to change to 0x7 so it matchs, it jumps right back to 0xC2

I've tried several other tiles, same thing, they all jump to 0xC2, any ideas why?

thanks in advance guys

Was it a bug in Mulpatcher? Just curious.

Well, considering MulEditor did it perfect the first try, I'd have to say its a bugg in MulPatcher. Even now, any tile i try to add with MulPatcher, its autosets the Tiledata.mul info to 0xC2 no matter what the Art(M) data or Texture data is set to.

For tiledata stuff I usually use a really old tiledata editor by Senser. Does the trick for me every time, plus I find the labels for the tiledata fields to be a little more accurate.

Hey, I see you are working with terrain tiles. Are there any special tricks to adding new textures? Does there have to be a corresponding static art tile for the texture?

Hellrazor,
Thanks for archiving all of punts stuff, it's been a goldmine.
As a matter of interest, can you describe the tiledata tool you use a little more?
