I am working on a project to make use of the two other coins built into the UO graphics and found that copper coins, graphic 0xeea, do not stack in a pile as do gold and silver coins. Can anyone explain why this might be and what I could do to fix it short of creating a custom copper coin and using gold coin graphics? They do stack but they look like stacked gems two dots rather than the pile graphic.

I'd probably be better just creating the custom coins I know but I have to admit things like this are curiosities.

Take a look at the tiledata entries for 0xEEA.
There must be some difference in there to stop the graphic from changing on the client.

Nopers.

Using mulpatcher I set the flags the same as silver and gold and there was no change. I just created our own copper coins and used goldcoin graphic and all is well now.

Could be a server based problem?

I'm going from memory here, but I think stacking is handled server-side. Check your emulator scripts and use something like gold as the base to build a new script for silver, using the silver graphics instead of the gold ones.

If it's for RunUO then there isn't a script, but ,by coincidence I made one the other day, if you want it? You also have to make an edit to one of the server core files to recognise it.

By the way there are already graphics for copper coins: 3818 (0xEEA) - 3820 (0xEEC).
