I loaded u8p wfmap the other day on my desktop and found that the map is not displaying in the program, no terrain and no static items. I loaded wfmulti and found the same problem. I can see the grid, the pallette and clipper but items dragged or inserted into the workspace don't display. When I load a mlt file or multi still nothing.

This is a recent development. I have been using these two great utilities for some time and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. I am running Windows XP service pack 2.

The programs run fine under Vista which actually surprised me due to so many incompatibilities with other programs.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

One last thing; I had uninstalled the update to dot net version 3 thinking it might have been thye problem but it seems it wasn't.

Check the mulsettings for the program. Ensure full directories/file names are spelled correct.

I have done that several times.

One thing I did forghet to mention is that when I switch to 256 colour mode I can see items placed in wfmulti though they are a sicly green colour. I am thinking maybe this is a display driver problem though for the life of me I cannot see how but then again display drivers are wierd things.

I am going to try reinstalling my display driver.

Thanks.

If you think of anything else, please let me know.

Ensure you have the latest opengl drivers for you video card. These are opengl programs, not DirectX or Direct3d. Check your card vendor sites for the video drivers.

Here is the odd thing Punt, these were running on the machine that is now exhibiting problems. I don't know what changed on that machine but a couple weeks ago they were working then about 4 days ago I launched wfmap and it started giving me the problems. I have not, to my knowledge, changed any drivers or moved the mul file locations or anything. The only thing I know for sure I did was to update to Dot Net 3.0 but that's all I know that I did.

Now on my laptop, running Vista, they run fine.
