While I am busy with other things, like planning the towns for my map, I have some questions to save me some time when I convert the .bmp to a map using Dragon:

1. Lets say I make the water level -5 and make the land level 20, will it transition ok?

2. If I use the cave color in the dungeon area it wont build a mountain above it, will it?

The transition for the water and land will be ok... It's a little bit high up. But it'll look ok.
And no, it wouldn't make a mountain over the cave, it wouldn't anyway. You have to add that in yourself if you are planing to have a cave on the map.

For the cave, I'll add that you can put in mountains after the fact (via worldforge or other method) without having to worry about losing the caves. My scripts are designed (by default) to create static cave floortiles. If you use multiple elevations in the cave, they may turn out funky looking in game, but the fix is to change the comment out the script that makes the floortiles before you run dragon. Not at home right now and can't remember the file, reply if you can't figure it out and I'll look later.
