1. how can i link a dungeon enterance to a dungeon?
2. how would i go about using another map (ex map2.mul, map3.mul)? I'm using a sphere shard, and i want to link another map to the default map (map0.mul), so players can travel from 1 map to the other. But i have no clue how to do it.

Thanks,
-BD

1. You can use teleporters to link from a dungeon entrance to the dungeon. Placing the teleporters is emu-dependent, but if you tell us which emu you're using, someone will probably be able to help with the commands.

2. To make a map2.mul, you have several options. You can create a map0.mul using your favorite map maker, filling in extra space with water, mountain, or whatever, then use a program like UOCopy to copy it into the correct size map. Or you can use the Map Generator software at http://worldmaker.ryandor.com/, which can make maps of any size. Then you just use teleporters to get from map to map (or write spells, or provide items, etc.) Again, how you move players from map to the other is both emu and situation dependent. If you describe how you want players to be able to shift between maps (moongates? spells? teleporters?), someone may be able to provide more details.

Thanks for the help. I'd be doing it through moongates and teleporters. And i'm using map generator.

What program are you using to run your server? RunUO? POL? Sphere? UOX3?

I'm not too familiar with Sphere. You'll probably use the ADD command to add teleporters, then INFO to set where they teleport to. The MOREP values for both teleporters and moongates determine the destination.

There once was a time you could place them in your pack and use the "Link" function. I used to split them up into linked pairs and place them at the entrances then use the GM ability to go to the destination and place the other half. Set them non-movable and your done.

Have not used Sphere in years so don't know if that is possible anymore though.
