Im a new user of Dragon, I decided to create my own map, but something is not working, Im not sure if it is my fault...

The grass color fills the map with dead trees, graves, bones and blood :shock:
Forests are not "normal" too, Ive read some topics that seems to be related to this but they didnt help me, what is wrong with this? should I config any file to change this? Id like to see forests with better trees and remove the dead trees, graves and bones from grass

Edit: its better to say that I tried a few maps from other shards to see if they were ok, but every maps shows the "grass" like this.

Im using the latest version of Dragon from the website

Plus, Im using RunUO -_-

Your map troubles are because your building on the "Fel" side of the map and the .diff files are over writing your changes.

You can correct this by removing the diff files and replacing them with blank ones. You can create blanks by making notepad files renamed the same as the ones you are replacing.

I had the same problem. If you use Pandora's Box you can simply chose "travel" and move from "Felucca" to "Trammel". The world appears to be the same, but statics works correctly.

I think you are talking about the following files:

mapdif0.mul
mapdifl0.mul
stadif0.mul
stadifi0.mul
stadifl0.mul

I created blan files with these names, are these the correct files? I didnt see any .diff files in the UO folder, I hope you can still help me ^^

It didnt work, grass and forests still look like this:

Edit: after reading tambanian's post I changed to trammel and it worked... well... grass still have all those trees and stones, but now they look much better :P no graves and bones around here now, but I still think the problem is not solved

It is the diffs but if your using RUNUO you may also need to turn off the Fel option in the RUNUO scripts.

You should have diff's for 0, 1 and 2 in the formats you have shown. They all must be removed.

mapdif0
mapdif1
mapdif2
mapdifl0
mapdifl1
mapdifl2
stadif0
stadif1
stadif2
stadifl0
stadifl1
stadifl2

0 is for fel
1 is for trammel
2 is for Ilshenar

If replacing them with blank files does not work then you may need to remove them completely.

Make sure you save a backup copy of the patch files you edit or remove.

Well.... I dont have scripting skills so I would have to be a lucky guy to know where is the right script and find the option (is it something like blablabla=1 and make it blablabla=0?)

Trammel looks cool in this way, how can I use it to create the shard?

Maybe I could switch the files :P hmm? :P

I deleted them all, so the only thing missing is the script option, can anyone help me with this? :shock: (turning off Felucca)

Are there any more topics related to this? I couldnt find any

That is handled by the season packet (desolation) that is sent by the server to the client.

I changed the season number from 4 to 0 and Felucca now looks fine, Ill start working on buildings ^^ thanks a lot!!
