Hi.

I use Dragon 9 to make my custum map and last day my Hd broke. I have a mul of my map but I don't have the Bmp

Does some Program exist to put the Map into a Bmp of Dragon 9?

There is, in fact. but you would have absolutly massive amounts of work trying to get the *bmp that it would create back to a usable form.

The Dragon packages have a Mul2Bmp.exe that does this, but the problem is, it will make a Neon Yellow color for any 'transition' tiles that you have.. Like, where forests transition to Grass.. Dirt to Forests, and all of that.. Coast lines, mountain edge transitions.. everything. You would probably be able to repaint your map faster.

Your only other alternative would be to use other programs like World Forge, U Landscaper or best yet, Punts World Maker to do any map work.

Sorry.

Moral of this story, backup any important data to some sort of offline source. Either if that means a CDR, DVDR, or even an external HDD.

I do myself, I have 3 backups of all my information, because over the years it's gotten larger, larger, and larger. So I can't really afford to lose it.

What you want, is Syd's STIC program.
Quote:
STIC is a simple program used to convert a UO map into two RAW image files. One image represents the tiles (tile-to-color conversion for each specified tile is stored in the “color table” file); the other represents altitude (a grayscale image). It was originally written to accompany STMC (Syd’s True-color Map Converter).
