i have wanted to have my own uo account based on a certain game. but as i messed around with it on my shard i knew that it would be impossible to build my own land, atleast in vast amounts. until i found this site that is :)
problem is when i try to install the worldforge program it does not gain any progress but instantly just says it must close cause of some kind of error that occured. is there certain requirments that i need on my computer. and if there is what are they? or is there a part of this site that i over looked that has all the requirements to run the program. Thanks for the help everyone. and yes.. i am new to all this hehe.

Probably trying to install a non-XP compatible version on XP.

That stands for "Application Compatibility Text" so yes you?re missing some driver or trying to install it on a system that is not compatible.

Are you running Windows XP? If not which one and which version of Worldforge are you using?

What are the rest of the error messages that you are talking about?

Hmm it sounds like compatability problem for sure, Stormcrow may have hit it on the nose.

Try downloading and installing from this link;

http://www.ragedcom.com/punt/

The WFPatch was required by XP systems I think and the qt-mt333 were the drivers but read the documents that come with it before you trash your system.

The WFPatch in that link is a program to patch artwork. The older versions of Worldforge (delphi based) did require an update of some sort to work (I think Xuri site had the update).

The wforge at the listed link is a "next generation WF" kinda, that is not delphi based, but does require the qt-mt333.rar to run (as well as some msvc dlls).

If you are using the older versions (which have different capability, I think you can get on that works on XP from http://www.uox3.org .

Ahh I'm such a naughty boy :twisted:

Only thing I could remember was an XP patch for worldforge thought that might be the same one but not sure.
