I have made quite a few maps before, and I just used dragon to make another and there is no transition between jungle to mountain, so what gives? I'm using Dragon mod 9 and the correct colors obviously, but there's no transition. Everything else completes fine.

A quick glance through the OSI map shows a grass border between all jungles and mountains. There may not even be the tiles for it. But then I've not looked specifically for them.

A search through your \dragon\scripts\map would also reveal a lack of a jungle2mountain.scp or a mountain2jungle.scp.

Um... there are jungle to mountain transitions, so why not use them? Now I'm confused, I swear I can remember Dragon making them.

Hmmmm...Butt Monkey is right about the transition tiles. fc-107 and 727-73a are jungle to mountain. However there are no jungle2mountain transition tables for Dragon; at least not that anyone has released to the public. So as far as his memory of Dragon doing them he probably needs to put down the crackpipe.

Well, if someone wants to make them, I'll put them in no problem. I've had enough with wring trans scritps lately..

FYI: mod 10 is still in the works.
I've added T2A type transitions.
similiar to the grass2grassbump, cept actually usefull:
T2Adirt2forest.txt
T2Adirt2grass.txt
T2Adirt2jungle.txt
T2Aforest2forest.txt
T2Aforest2grass.txt
T2Agrass2grass.txt
T2Ajungle2grass.txt

I didn't know any of them were useful besides grass2grass ;)
T2A was the beginning of a trend of crappy maps. It seems each expansion the goal was to sink to new lows.

I strive to offer as many things as practical. These additional transitions can be used for more than just T2A type landscape.

Besides, I've gone 9 mods without "striving to reach a new low". About time I did that!
