Heya :)
1st of all sorry about my english but i hope that you'll understand all that i want to say.
I'm new here so i have some newbie questions:
I have found a dungeon tutorial (how to make). There are 2 types od Dungeons. Can someone link me to tutorial that shows how to make "fake" (type 1) dungeon ? (for example: Minoc mine)
Second question
I built a little house and i wish to have it in deed - allow players to buy it, use it, live in it :) How to make that?
btw, im working on POL emulator.

Hello Azird!

Im no expert myself, but I'll try my best to advice you.
First question, im not certain. Im doing caves last on my map!

But the second one.. Well, I seem to remember punts World Maker Multieditor has a function where you can export your structures to the multi-file. Thats where you will find all the OSI made houses, boats etc (i.e. anything you buy as a deed then place). I guess that is what you are looking for. Export it to that file, and then I guess its a matter of linking the entry to a deed ingame. No idea how you do that on POL thou :(

For OSI-like caves, the entire cave interior consists of static tiles. Basically you create a dungeon entrance on the side of the mountain, then use static tiles inside the mountain to create the flooring and walls. In this fashion, the caves will not appear on the radar map but you can walk into them.

For the housing question, you need to first save the house as a "multi" object in the UO MUL files. There are a few different utilities that will do this, UO Architect is one. After that you need to write a script for your emulator that handles the house placement, etc. The script can be tricky because I believe you also have to figure out correct placement of the door or sign for the house among other things. I suggest you look at an existing script to figure out that part of it.

Yay. Thanks for respond. I wont have any problems with dungeons now :] "Dziekuje" - in Polish. but still got problem with that multi files. Any good guides? Usefull links ?

I've searched forum for some links. Found WorldForge Pol + tutorials to WorldForge. Still looking for UOarchitect or other tools like this ( would be nice to have a tutorial too )

http://www.orbsydia.ca for UO Architect. But it is built for the RunUO emulator so it may not be of help if you are using POL or Sphere.

You could try the Worldmaker Multi Editor suggested by Fredde82. http://punt.demuria.com

The scripting side you would want to ask about at your emulator's forums.
