I'm playing WoW. Got the expansion too. Was hoping to hop over to AoC, but the final release date has been moved (well, actually set for the first time, really) to October 30th, so I need something to do until then

Ok so what is the game of choice for the L33tz peeps who like to styl3 th3ir war3z or how ever it goes? Went to http://www.mmorpg.com to see what's hot and whats not and noticed that not much has really changed other than Star Whores Gal. is going under in the near future. One guy said he only saw an average of 5 people on all three servers and the cities were ghost towns. That was the fastest I've ever wasted $80.00 on a game that I quit after a week... Lots of the new games out have very nice graphics but its more of the same old level grind or severe freedom restrictions *Yawn*. Not that I actually have time in the Spring, Summer or Fall months to play anymore. Which game does everyone play now? Dev |

I'm sorry but WoW sucks so bad...... I'll never understand why its so damn popular, (yes i tried it for 6 months) I've been playing Oblivion and UO as well as my Nintendo Wii. |

You played WoW for 6 months before you found out it sucked? I think Blizzard are happy with your contribution to their bank accounts in any case. What I like about WoW, is how polished it is, and how well connected the art direction is throughout the entire game. It doesn't have to be about raiding the same instances 100 times to get that rare über gear. I've played since it started and I still play - though I plan to migrate to Age of Conan when that comes. I can understand that you don't personally like the game, but it's got qualites to it's roots. |

The screen shots on the official VG web site are representative of what it looks like on my system. I only slightly increased the amount of detail (specifically, the number of objects in the world, like books on book shelves, etc.), though sometimes I will downgrade it to high-performance when I'm in a crowded city (but even that looks fine to me). |

I just recently started replaying WoW because i bet Vanguard will run like shit on my pc. 
and i cant really afford to get into it at this present time. My big thing is my processor really holds me back AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2GHZ my video card is medium XFX 6800GS 256mb PCIx-16 I tried swg awhile back on my moms computer and lagged to much to get into it. I dont want to buy a game and lag a shitload as i run around the immerse world. |
